To apply for CIPA training and certification one must have a high school or higher level diploma. Applicants must have prerequisite knowledge and minimum skills in the following areas:
Anyone meeting the prerequisite requirements may apply for CIPA training and certification, whether currently employed by a P&C insurance agency or not. Paulmar Software encourages those with customer service or accounting experience in a P&C agency, persons with applicable experience in the lending industry, graduates with college degree in accounting or business administration, or anyone familiar with the business of P&C insurance industry to apply for training and certification.
The CIPA positions will be available nationwide.

TYPING SKILLS PREREQUISITES
Applicants for the CIPA training must be able to use the keyboard without looking at the keys. A minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute is required.
